PERFORMANCE

The 362-hp turbo inline-6 in the GLE 450 is also electrified: Its hybrid Integrated Starter-Generator can can generate 21 hp electrically, yet allow gas-free coasting and lower emissions.

With nine speeds, the advanced 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission offers a versatile range of ratios, for quick response and efficient, quiet cruising. To help turn grip into go, the GLE 350 4MATIC splits the engine’s torque 50:50 front/rear. The GLE 450 can vary the torque from 0 to 100%.
